SKILLS FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURES
At WeSeeHope, we ensure vulnerable children in Southern and Eastern Africa have the skills to change their own futures. And we work with their families and communities to make sure they are supported along the way.
This year, we are empowering 12,651 parents and guardians of vulnerable children.
We are training 2,042 community volunteers to run our programs in 2020.
We have set up 1,000+ villages savings and loans groups since 2014, economically empowering over 23,000 parents and guardians.
“WOMEN MAKING DECISIONS IS A BASIC FOUNDATION AND IMPORTANT INDICATOR OF WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT”
“I like leading properly, so that I can brighten my future.”
Melody is the leader of her Kids’ Clubs in Kangoro, Kenya. She is using skills she has learnt to further her education so she can realise her dream of becoming a doctor or a dancer.
